About
Nina Condo is a dedicated community leader with over 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, equity advocacy, and community development. Born a refugee in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and a proud Rwandese citizen, Nina’s lived experiences fuel her passion for building inclusive and resilient communities.
Since 2014, she has served as Executive Director of the Elmwood Community Resource Centre, where she has expanded services that support thousands each year through counselling, education and training, youth engagement, employment, and settlement.

Her influence extends nationally co-authoring policy briefs, shaping Canada’s Gender-Based Violence Strategy, and advancing anti-racism and equity frameworks in the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Manitoba and in broader social policy.
Nina currently serves as National Co-Chair of the Health Sector Table under Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and as Co-Chair of Immigration Partnership Winnipeg. A sought-after trainer, speaker, and founder of NC Consulting, she empowers organizations and emerging leaders of color.
